Situated in the quiet countryside, Rookery Farm CL is an ideal centre from which to explore North West Norfolk. Surrounded by gently undulating fields, relax and enjoy being close to nature whilst watching our resident horses or local hares as you sip your morning coffee or maybe enjoy an evening drink admiring one of our breath-taking Norfolk sunsets. 

Each of our five spacious slightly sloping pasture pitches all offer electric hook up with easy access to communal water and waste service points. Well behaved dogs are welcome although we do ask that they are kept on leads whilst on the site.

The site offers an ideal place for walkers and cyclists alike with many routes accessible straight from the campsite, including the very popular Leziate Circular walk where views of the rural countryside and local lakes can be enjoyed. There are local amenities close by with East Winch Post Office and shop only 1.4 miles away and the local pub, The Carpenters Arms, which offers fantastic food. The village of Gayton is only 2.1 miles away where a petrol station/garage, fish and chip shop, Hot Hut Takeaway and The Crown pub can also be found.

Further afield, the historic market town of King's Lynn lies only 6 miles away where shops, restaurants, general amenities and numerous attractions, such as The Minster, St Nicholas' Chapel, True's Yard and the Custom's House can be explored. Or why not venture a little further and explore the many wonderful attractions this part of Norfolk has to offer such as Sandringham Royal Estate, Oxburgh Hall, Gooderstone Water Gardens, the beautiful West Norfolk Coast or the idyllic Norfolk Broads, to name but a few.

Where to find us

From West and recommended route (King's Lynn): leave A149 (Queen Elizabeth Way) and take B1145 signposted Gayton. After 2.25 miles and after passing Ashwicken village sign, turn right into East Winch Road and follow for approximately 1.25 miles and immediately after passing derestriction signs, turn left onto Church Lane. Rookery Farm CL site is on your left after approximately 300 meters and just past the main farm entrance. (Please note that access onto Church Lane directly from the B1145 is not advised as it is unsuitable for caravans).

From South (A47 - East Winch): Leave A47 at The Carpenters Arms and join Station Road. After 450 meters approach T-Junction and take right turn into Gayton Road. After approx 0.3 miles take first left into Ashwicken Road. After a total of approx 0.8 miles take turning to right on left hand bend in road onto Church Lane. Rookery Farm CL is approx 300 meters on the left just past the main farm entrance.
